We are dedicated to reduce negative impacts on the environment, and environmental considerations are included in all our decisions.
At Modulex, we continue to reduce both our consumption of natural resources and emissions that can harm the environment. This is something we can document. Our goals and action plans for becoming a greener company are published each year in our green accounts and every third year in an environmental performance report. Both publications are submitted to public authorities and made available to our employees, shareholders and customers.
Electricity from sustainable sources
One of our many environmental initiatives is our membership in a voluntary environmental network (www.milsyd.dk) that assesses our environmental performance on a regular basis. As the only signage producer we have also formed a climate partnership with Dong Energy (www.dong.dk). Being a climate partner we are required to use energy from sustainable sources. We are constantly searching for new ways of improvement and hope that we can inspire others to do the same.
A healthy workplace environment for great employees
Maintaining a healthy workplace environment is vital to our ability to attract and retain the best employees. We work constantly to improve Modulex as a workplace through our official workplace environment organisation, which plans, directs and coordinates our work in this area. One important task is to prepare and update our occupational health and safety policies – and to ensure the necessary follow-up work. We carry out systematic workplace environment assessments to ensure continued improvements.
